Round 5 is in the books!! The race was wet and I ended up 3rd from a pole position start. I’m a bit disappointed as I feel I could have done better but I let myself fall back in the early stages whilst figuring a few things out in the wet. The track was really grippy but it took me a few laps to realise that. From that there were a few key moments that let the front two stretch away and once I had clear track it was too little too late. The pace I had was enough to fight for the win which gives me confidence for the coming rounds whether it be wet or dry.

All in all it was a positive weekend with some valuable learning, more confidence gained, another new track under my belt and I’m very happy with how quickly I came to grips with the track in the practice/qualifying sessions. Now tied for second in the championship and looking to close the gap to the front at Snetterton in 3 weeks time.

Thank you too James, Alfie and spud from Astro JJR Racing for all their work over the weekend. Also to the following sponsors for their continued support;
